For runners, autumn and winter are a real test of character. It’s cold. It’s dark. And it’s often wet, too. Many runners train year-round in the same shoes, enduring dampness and discomfort. However, more and more people are turning to waterproof running shoes, which greatly improve comfort during training in difficult conditions. They protect your feet from rain, snow and wet surfaces. They allow you to focus on your pace instead of your wet socks.
During the fall and winter, waterproof running shoes account for only a small portion of sales. It is estimated to be about one in ten pairs. Manufacturers’ lineups are similar. In the urban running segment, the selection of models with a membrane or water-repellent coating is limited. Most often, there is one or two variants in the collection, rarely more. These models are usually based on well-cushioned training shoes for everyday running. However, this is not always the case. So, what waterproof running shoes have producers prepared for this season?

adidas Adizero Evo SL ATR

The adidas Adizero Evo SL ATR is a shoe for runners who want lightness and agility, even in the fall and winter seasons. It is designed for those who train quickly in challenging conditions. Rain, moisture and cold mornings. In the adidas lineup, it sits between the classic Adizero for hard surfaces and full-fledged trail shoes. It’s a bridge between worlds.
